🌦️ Ubuntu Zoom Microphone Not Working

Running the zoom tests for mic and speakers works 100%, other parties can hear me while I do the tests, as soon as I close the test, Zoom says it can't detect my mic/speakers again. The only exception is the input sound. The Rapsberry pi 400 has no sound jack, so we are using a USB camera with integrated mic. The mic works fine elsewhere, both in a mic test within Raspberry pi 400, and on a PC, but on Zoom it doesn't work properly. For the initial seconds it works fine, but after that it only really registers loud sounds
Unfortunately, an external mic is recognised as headphones on the combi-jack on Ubuntu and I have not found a way to change that yet. I seem to be able to detect the headset mic into "pavucontrol". I see sound captured, but the device is shown as "Headset Stereo Microphone (unplugged)". This device do not appear in the sounds parameter, but only in pavucontrol. That's a first step but I don't know how to fix from there.
NOTE - type sudo apt remove zoom-client in terminal to remove the old Zoom from your PC before installing the new one. Easy way. Double left click the downloaded file and install from Ubuntu Software. Difficult way. Open terminal in the directory of zoom_amd64.deb. Then type sudo dpkg -i zoom_amd64.deb.
I am still working on this annoying issue (An option should be included on the Input Devices tab to "Force" the input volume to stay where the user wants to set it. This would apply for specific cases where the user knows what volume it needs for a particular app and the auto adjust features does not work correctly for it. Veix6.
